(and you thought it was going to be simplified) • But I already have Essbase in the cloud with PBCS • Yes, but even with the new EPM 11.2 release you will still only have Essbase 11.1.2.4 • My BIFS (Oracle BI Foundation Suite) has Essbase 12c - wouldn't I just use that? • Maybe, but you only have Essbase 12.x • And your BIFS ultimately becomes OAS - without Essbase. • I have OAC - Essbase, won't that be upgraded? • No. Your OAC - Essbase is now end-of-life and is frozen at Essbase 12c • Essbase 19c is meant to be Native Essbase only
