- 1. Evaluation Question 5 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this project?
- 2. Research and Planning • Throughout my research I had to analyse as film opening, I did this by finding a film we wanted to analyse then looked for the film opening on YouTube, this a very simple site as all you have to do is click on a video you wanted to see and it was up on the screen. • But also throughout the planning I had to learn how to use Prezi this was new to me as I had never used it before and it was confusing at the time but soon got use to it. It helps with presentations as it looks more professional. • I also attempted Wordle but I didn’t like how it looked in the end so I didn’t use it on my blog, it was easy to use but didn’t look right, or as professional as Prezi.
- 3. Contruction • While we filmed during our film opening we used two different types of camera’s. The Panasonic NV- GS500 we used this to film our film opening this uses tape so it was very easy to transfer our filming onto the computer straight onto Sony Vegas the editing software we used. The other camera we used was the Fuji Finepix S4200 we used this to take pictures of us filming to put on my blog.
- 4. • We also used a boom mic when filming so the we could capture the sound when filming to edited into our film opening. We used the boom instead of the cameras mic as it makes it clearer. We used the muff as it helps pic up the important sound and stops the sound of the wind etc… I found it very easy to use as you only need to plug it in and hold it. Out of the camera angle this made it easy to use.
- 5. Computer/Editing Software • When we edited out film opening we used a computer software called Sony Vegas. This had many effects like volume envelope this is where it makes the sound increase and decreased in designated areas to suit the opening. We also had to make the production logo which meant using the x and y theory to make the production logo roll along. Over all I found this easy to use once I got the hang of it and knew what I was meant to be doing.
- 6. Evaluation • Everything we produced went on blogger so anything we did with the film opening was put onto the blog. It was really easy to put onto the website as most things was embedding and if we needed to go back and edit it, it was possible. But to put everything on apart from Prezi we needed to use slide share. This was used for word documents and presentations ect… this was easy to used as all you had to do was upload the document and it would convert it and make it able to embed onto blogger.
