- 1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product ? Daniella Benson
- 2. HD- Flip Camera: Fairly easy to use once shown. We did not have use of a which would have given us some good steady camera shots. The battery life could have been improved as we didn’t plug the camera in enough. The zoom in and zoom out function button didn’t work effectively as we would have preferred it to Strengths and weaknesses of technology:
- 3. Blogger and slide share was one thing that was complicated for me at the start because I hadn't used it before. After few weeks of playing around with the software, I got used to it. It allowed me to change the background pictures, colours, font size etc.
- 4. IMAC, IMOVIE AND GARAGE BAND The Mac’s that we were supposed to use to make our thriller proved tat it wasn’t the right software or technology for us. The software were supposed to used was iMovie and garage band for our music and the creation of the movie. Reason being as it wasn’t easy to use, for instance: we didn't ’ know how to capture the video footage onto iMovie. It was hard to pick which instruments to use for our soundtrack. If you wanted to put in sound effects they would be an error occurring in red saying that you couldn't use this sound effect. IMOVIE was the hardest software because it requires time and almost expert knowledge to use software. My partner and I tried to watch tutorials on YouTube but they proved to be difficult when trying to follow the instructions through as they were very complicated
- 5. In the end, my partner and I converted download a different software called windows movie maker on y laptop. This software worked so brilliantly as we were able to easily import our videos and recordings,edit, split and trim our movie with no hassle and add as many sound effects as we could very swiftly. The software automatically merged our short scenes together to make them run smoothly, rather than have jumps all the through as I movie did. We were also able to add the visual effects and do the editing that we wanted to have.
