This document presents a system for facial expression recognition using deep convolutional neural networks, distinguishing seven universal emotions: happiness, disgust, anger, fear, sadness, surprise, and neutrality. The proposed system employs a trained neural network and datasets, such as the FER2013, to analyze images and predict emotions, with applications in various fields like security, advertising, and human-computer interaction. It also reviews related literature and prior techniques, indicating the ongoing research and potential improvements in emotion recognition technology.
