This document describes the development of a vehicular heatstroke avoidance system to prevent children from being accidentally left in parked cars, aiming to mitigate the risk of heatstroke for children up to 24 months old. The system employs motion and sound sensors linked to an Arduino GSM shield to detect unattended children and send SMS alerts to caregivers. This self-energized device operates on solar power and seeks to reduce increasing cases of vehicular heatstroke among children.
