  BTEC Extended Diplomain Creative Media Production IG4 Final Major Project Production Diary PROGRESS UPDATE PLAN FOR NEXT MONTH / WEEK (Including Possible Contingency Plans If Problems Anticipated) Mon W/B 07/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Decided which track I was going to produce a music video for and edited it to my desired length. Begin writing my final major project proposal. Mon W/B 14/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Finished Creating music video proposal including synopsis, target audience, target audience needs and how I will meet the target audience needs. Begin creating a script for my music video Mon W/B 21/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) After completing the final draft of my script and labelling the scene numbers I uploaded it to my blog. Start working on storyboarding my video scene by scene referencing each scene with a number. Mon W/B 28/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Completed the explanation on the storyboard discussing the different camera angels and shot types. Complete the drawings giving a brief idea of what happens in each scene of the video. Mon W/B 04/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Completely finished storyboard with images and explanations. Started working a Prezi PowerPoint researching another music video. Started a survey monkey questionnaire for feedback/research. Completed questionnaire and emailed out to peers, waiting on feedback. Mon W/B 11/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Questionnaire completed and received feedback from peers. After receiving questionnaire feedback I have took it into consideration and began gathering footage for my video. Mon W/B 18/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Half Term – Took a camera over the half term to sharpen up the clips that were out of focus. Rename all the clips and separate into manageable files ready for editing when back in college. Mon W/B 25/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Visited a number of different locations to record footage. Gather enough clips to start editing my project. Mon W/B 04/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Set up Adobe Premier project and imported all my clips. Start editing process Mon W/B 11/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Half-way through editing my FMP, Took a camera home to film clips( close up shots of the equipment in my bedroom such Decks and Speaker Monitors.) Rename all new footage and add it to my edit.

There is only another 60 seconds that need covering until my completed project. Book a camera again and visit different locations. Mon W/B 01/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Added final set of footage into my video which enabled me to complete the project. Upload my final edit to YouTube and begin gathering feedback for my evaluation. Mon W/B 08/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Completed a detailed evaluation including technical quality , the skills I have learnt, how close the final edit matches the original idea, time management and how well I reached my target audience.
