  BTEC Extended Diplomain Creative Media Production IG4 Final Major Project Production Diary PROGRESS UPDATE PLAN FOR NEXT MONTH / WEEK (Including Possible Contingency Plans If Problems Anticipated) Mon W/B 07/01/14 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Picked my song for my music video, edited on Audacity as the song was too long. Start Script Mon W/B 14/01/14 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Added the timeline and Lyrics onto script template. Fill in script. Mon W/B 21/01/14 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Finished script, uploaded on blogspot, added shot description and scene number for storyboard. Draw the story board and start risk assessment. Mon W/B 28/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Storyboard drawn and uploaded onto blogspot, risk assessment, location recce also uploaded onto blog. Start filming. Mon W/B 04/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Started filming the bedroom scenes, intro and outro. Start Adobe Premiere Pro project. Mon W/B 11/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Started Premiere project, renamed the footage and started putting together the intro. Film car scenes, dancing scene and spray paint scene. Mon W/B 18/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Filmed dancing scene for the first chorus, filmed around in the car and filmed spray paint scene under tunnel. Take footage back to my project and start putting the footage together. Mon W/B 25/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Renamed the footage, edited upto 1:36. Realised I don’t have enough footage for the car scene. Film rest of car scene and also the night car scenes for my 2nd chorus. Mon W/B 04/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Filmed extra day car scenes just in case if I ran out of footage and also the night car scenes had been complete. Finish off all the filming ready to concentrate on the editing fully in lesson. Mon W/B 11/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Filmed the night dance scenes and more bedroom scenes and daytime dance scenes. Start my editing again back in the classroom. Mon W/B 18/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Renamed all the scene names, begin editing and start putting clips together. Finished upto 2:10 Carry on with my editing.

Finished editing upto 3:00 Shoot missing footage during weekend and have the footage ready for next week. Mon W/B 08/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Added missing clip onto Project, edited in the gap, spent rest of lesson finishing off the project. Finished product ready and uploaded to YouTube. Completed Evaulation for FMP. Mon W/B 15/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Completed a detailed evaluation including technical quality, skills learnt, how close the final edit matches the initial ideas, time management, how well I reached the target audience and summary condition.
