 The Fire bellied toad can be found on the mainland of
Europe and Northern and Central Asia.
 They are cold-blooded amphibians and are found in
temperate rainforests, woodland areas, marshlands
and swamps.
What it eats
 The Fire bellied toad is a carnivore and eats a variety of
bugs, insects, spiders and odd worms.
 The Fire bellied toad uses it’s long sticky tongue to
catch it’s prey.
Predators
 Predators to the fire bellied toad are, snakes, foxes,
birds, cats, and large fish.
 When predators come to attack the toad, it will
produce a poison that causes them to taste bad to their
predators.
More Interesting Facts
 The fire bellied toad is not an endangered species.
 They have heart shaped pupils
 They can survive up to 20 years in the wild.
