Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect born in 1867 known for pioneering organic architecture. He designed two homes called Taliesin East and Taliesin West. Taliesin East was located in Wisconsin and consisted of three iterations built between 1911-1925 after fires destroyed the previous structures. Taliesin West was located in Arizona and constructed between 1937-1958 as Wright's winter home and studio campus in the desert landscape. Both homes featured Wright's signature organic and open floor plans that blended indoor and outdoor spaces using local natural materials.
