Once established in this market, secondary opportunities led to focusing on high-end residential applications. This glossy, multi-page brochure was distributed to Carrier product vendors and was aimed at delivering value props to the home owner in a sophisticated and highly polished presentation. Print
This design is a Case Study I recently submitted to the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History for consideration. While the original site presented a wide variety of information about the exhibits available to the public, it had an amateurish look and feel and was difficult to navigate. Inspired by other museum sites including the Smithsonian, Franklin Institute, and the Newseum, I proposed reorganizing the site to better feature the exhibits, as well as improve the design for more visual appeal and provide a clear call-to-action for membership. Museum of Science and History Design | Layout | Illustration | Code Online
King Provision, is a Burger King approved distributor of food, paper products, and supplies for Burger King franchises. They needed a website that provided its customers with current product and company news as well as direct access to online order placement. This proposed design would merge the Burger King brand with the company's site to provide an integrated, professional presence with an easy-to-navigate interface. King Provision Design | Layout | Illustration | Code Online
While working for Carrier Corporation I managed the creation of the support documents for their new software titled 'Design Center'. Design Center allowed HVAC contractors to graphically enter layouts of buildings they were estimating on using a laptop on site. The program would then generate a layout of the required HVAC system with associated pick lists and pricing. The documents included a User Manual with detailed information and instructions as well as well as instructional copy and graphics for the help section of the application itself. This upgrade project brought the Ameristeel website up to a level of presence the company had been after for years. The site became more customer oriented, with news and other industry-related information, as well as immediate log-in access to the EZ-Link online ordering system. Inevitably, the company became Gerdau Ameristeel, adopting the parent company's web design to provide a more cohesive business presence. I was able to assist the company in the transition, ensuring that this site was updated to the new style guide. Ameristeel Rebranding Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Code Online
Air4Less.com was created to compete as a low-priced alternative to Orbitz, Expedia and other travel reservation sites. The site provided a forms-based interface for arranging airfare, auto rentals and hotel accommodations. The site needed to portray a cut-rate yet polished appearance with an immediate call-to-action. The entire front end for the Air4Less site was completed within six weeks to meet a significant release date that aligned with the summer travel season. Air4Less.com Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Code Online
Titan Technologies Titan Technologies wanted to improve their presence in the Southeast region. To do so, they sponsored a seminar on using Oracle 11i to enhance the operating processes of medium-sized businesses. This glossy, 4-color, short-run advertising piece was the primary invitation included in a full marketing package. With the understanding that the invitation was to be targeted at C-level executives, We designed a stylish, up-scale look and feel while creating a layout that was easy to read and absorb, with a clear call to action. Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Production Print
The Digital Angel website project was designed for Applied Digital Solutions to showcase their emerging security technology, which was on the forefront of individual, emergency location devices using GPS. This site acted as a prospectus for potential investors as well as a communication center to the media about continuing advancements in the Digital Angel system. The site featured a clean, direct approach that presented the product without distracting the viewer with excessive design elements. Digital Angel Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Code Online
As part of it's offerings, Applied Digital Oracle Practice provided extensive assessment services to help it's customers optimize their Oracle 11i implementations. To promote these offerings, I developed an email marketing campaign. Targeted at potential customers who were planning an upgrade to 11i, the campaign generated leads for our Sales department. This landing page site supported the campaign, providing much more information than the email could present. The campaign leveraged the potential concerns companies were experiencing and potential solutions in a clean, comprehensive manner. ADOP Oracle Training Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Code Online
At DataRoad we implemented a series of recurring “Ask the Experts” Conference Call Seminars in which potential and existing customers would call in to listen to a short presentation on the new offerings from Oracle. Then, they had the opportunity to question our panel of experts on any subject pertaining to the Oracle 11i E-Business Suite. This approach was advertised through a series of email blasts in both HTML and text only formats. Out-bound calls through sales also drove traffic to either an online or phone-based in-bound registration process. Each seminar averaged between 30 and 50 participants with 100% follow-up through Sales. DataRoad Email Blasts Design | Layout | Illustration | Copy | Code Online
