It has a mission to ensure better quality of life by providing complete sustainable environment solutions to industries, governments and society. Now, it is India’s largest environment infrastructure company owning greatly to its core techno-legal-commercial capabilities of “Developing & Managing World Class Infrastructure”. GEPIL designs, develops, operates and maintains integrated waste treatments, storage and disposal facilities in major states across India.

- 10. First to design and install an energy-recovery based common hazardous waste incineration plant. Pioneers in bringing the solution of solidification and stabilization in India. Built and operates the largest Zero Liter Discharge Plant for textiles at cluster level. First company to develop a waste recycling zone in India with the Eco Town concept of Japan.
- 11. French Navy & Japanese Ship Owners have been closely associated with GEPIL on the subject of Environmentally Safe Ship Recycling. First to prepare alternate fuel from hazardous waste for co-processing in cement kilns. Developed and now promote the Green Gene community initiative, to bring awareness among people and to support urban local bodies in environmental activities. Gujarat Eco Textile Park has won the prestigious D&B-Axis Bank Infra Awards 2011 in the Industrial Park & SEZ category.

- 14. At GEPIL we provide a complete solution for treatment and disposal of all kinds of hazardous wastes.
- 15. Waste Water Management and Water Recycling [CETP/STP/ZLD]
- 16. Utilizing our expertise in the field of water recycling, we are able to reuse the treated water from CETP as industrial grade water, which keeps us in line with our aim of providing complete and sustainable solutions.
- 17. Municipal Solid Waste Management [MSW]
- 18. The total MSW handled by GEPIL is upwards of 20,000 MT per day. We have designed, built and developed secured landfill facilities for Municipal Waste of over 2 million metric tons.
- 20. It offers great advantage for the fabric and textile industry, with its integrated infrastructure for Production/Manufac turing. Thus taking maximum advantage of the cluster based approach.
- 21. GEPIL Recycling and Management Zone [GRAMZ]
- 22. The basis for the concept of GRAMZ is the 4R policy of GEPIL i.e. Reduce, Reuse, Recover and Recycle. The project will cater to waste recycling requirements of the proposed Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
- 24. Ministry of Environment & Forest has approved the concept of preparing alternate fuel from hazardous waste.
