- 1. Group assignment 1 - handling simple web page with the HTML 10/2/2016 Create a web site account on any free web host services you can search online. In this assignment your task is develop a web page which is going to be published online on the internet. You are going to advertise your group onto the WWW. The requirements would be as the following; 1- The main page consists of two separate background pages that are divided into two separate sections vertically namely the menu left and the stage right. The proportions between the left and the right is 20% and 80%. The border size is between 1 and 10. The menu background displays of a HTML colour and the stage background would depend on the individual design to be described in no 3. However, by default, the stage contains the highlighted course code and a smaller size text line which says ‘A simple web page with the HTML’ with the group theme image in the background. Note: The main page must remain at front static while the rest change as they are browsed. 2. The menu enlists the iconic hyperlinks of every member’s shrunk image and each is connected the relevant member's information page. If the hyperlink is clicked the link displays the relevant content page of the member onto the stage on the right display column area. In short this web page functions similarly to a tv set where the left menu is the switch panel and the right screen displays what is clicked on the panel according to its function. Note: label every icon by the member’s name. 3. The member’s information must consist of the person’s individual picture, full name, matric number and the email address within an HTML table whereby each is sorted by column which is labeled properly. A reminder, one link only displays one person's information on the stage at a time. The overall design of this individual page is at own will. 4. Once done save all files into a compressed folder, named it after your group name and submit it via anyone of your group member’s itaaleem before 19/2/2016 2355 server time. At the same time, publish the complete website onto the online web account you have created. The sample guide for an online web services is provided below. Later submission would cost you -50% in penalty. Submission beyond 26/2 is considered void. Caution! 1- 1 group is required to submit 1 product only over i taaleem. Multiple submissions is allowed but if differences accounted in the products it will cost -10% penalty. 2- A group must consist at least 2 members but not more than 3 otherwise your product is considered void. 3- Points will be distributed to every member displayed in the product evenly. 4- Assessment is done on the submitted product via itaaleem only. The online website must be maintained online as a requirement otherwise -20% penalty will be imposed temporarily until further notice.
