Growing up with David part 2 (Playing Second Fiddle)
King Saul was tormented by an evil spirit after God departed from him, prompting his attendants to seek a harp player for relief. David, the son of Jesse, was chosen for his musical abilities and bravery, entering Saul's service and becoming his armor bearer. As David played the harp, he provided Saul with comfort, demonstrating that living faithfully in small roles can lead to greater purposes for God.

- 1. 1 Samuel 16:14-15 Nowthe Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. Saul’s attendants said to him, ‘See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. www.networkchristian.org

- 6. Nothing and noone is INVISIBLE to God. What if God asks you to do SMALL things in a GREAT way.
- 7. Be a perpetualSTUDENT David didn’t know all the answers, but he KNEW the One who did and continually sought Him. How you live at home is the GROUNDWORK for God using you publicly.
- 8. Live faithfully WHEREyou are until you are called ELSEWHERE. Whether you feel noticed or unnoticed live in a way that God can BLESS However the world viewed him, and whatever and wherever life brought him, he was FAITHFUL to God.
- 9. Accept the seatof SECOND FIDDLE For David it was never about his GLORY, but the GlORY of God. Keeping Christ in the first chair allows us to stop living COUNTING days and start living to make days COUNT.
