ABSTRACT
• In present life we all people can’t live without transportation service for
proper and perfect communication.
• We also know that vehicle (car,truck,etc..) play an important role in
today’s transportation service.
• The present vehicle(car,truck,etc..) alarm system are still of no match to
the well-equiped thieves.
• So,we are going to introduces and describes the project offering higher
level of vehicle (car,truck,etc..) security system.
OBJECTIVE
•This project is capable of providing an effective two way communication
between the alarm system and the vehicle(car,truck,etc..) owner.
• Additionally the vehicle(car,truck,etc..) owner can remotely control many
of the car’s feature anytime and anywhere via cellphone using GSM
technology.
• Based on GPS technology this system has also potential to provide
realtime vehicle (car,truck,etc..) tracking , which we can include as a
enhancement of this project over conventional security system of vehicle
(car,truck,etc..).
FUNCTION
•Location Tracking
• Vehicle (car,truck,etc..) Turnoff

COMPONENTS
•Microcontroller AT89S52
•GSM Modem For Remote Communication
•GPS Receiver For Location Information
•Relay
•Buzzer
Microcontroller
AT89S52
•The microcontroller is the heart of this device.
•Microcontroller is a small computer on a single integrated circuit
containing a processor core, data memory and programmable
input/output peripherals.
• It is the interface between the GSM module and the GPS receiver.
• Microcontroller is programmed in such a way that it stimulates the GSM
modem in message forwarding when a request is send by the user.
• Microcontrollers are much smaller and simplified so that they
can include all the functions required on a single chip.
• Having the microcontroller is of great use, as it has low design
cost and add intelligence to the system.
PIN CONFIGURATION
GSM Modem
•A GSM modem is a specialized type
of modem which accepts a SIM card,
and operates over a subscription to a
mobile operator, just like a mobile
phone.
•GSM (Global System for Mobile) uses a process called circuit switching.
•This method of communication allows a path to be established between two
devices.
• Once the two devices are connected, a constant stream of digital data is
relayed.
• so by sending the command in the form of SMS we can control previously
mentioned features of vehicle remotely.
GPS Receiver
•The Global Positioning System (GPS) is
the only fully functional Global
Navigation System.
•The GPS uses a constellation of
Medium Earth Orbit satellites that
transmit precise microwave signals that enable GPS receivers to
determine their location, speed, direction, and time.
•A GPS receiver receives the signals from at least three satellites to
calculate distance and uses a triangulation technique to compute its two
dimension (latitude and longitude) position.
•Therefore GPS is a key technology for giving device its position.
• Application software used for location tracking
Relay
•Relays are electrical switches that open or close
another circuit under certain conditions.
•Electrical relays control the flow of electricity to various components of
larger circuits.
•Relays are generally used to protect circuit from damage due to high
electrical ratings.
•In this project relay is used to show the demonstration of working of real
time application device Solenoid Valve
Buzzer
•Buzzers are simply a musical tone oscillator
designed for audible indication of some alerts.
•Buzzers are generally electricaly operated device
for indication.
•Buzzer used in this project is simple pin terminal type buzzer for alert
operation.
•In this project Buzzer is used for audio indication of operation performed
by device according to user command.
FEATURES
•Remote Communication Using GSM Modem
• Sends Location In The Form Of Latitude & Longitude
• Reliable For Remote Tracking
• Advance security in form of stolen alert and vehicle turn off
APPLICATIONS
•Vehicle tracking
• Animal tracking
• Vehicle security application
• Ambulance tracking
