The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) aims to increase housing delivery across England by working locally with partners. The HCA provides £28 billion in funding, land, planning support, and construction expertise to support new affordable and market rate housing. A case study highlights how the HCA is investing £364 million in the Liverpool City Region through 2021 to support over 7,000 new housing starts and regenerate brownfield sites. Local partners are encouraged to work with the HCA to access funding and support that can increase new housing in their areas.
