Logic Mind Technologies provides a high sensitive LPG sensor with gas leakage alert buzzer. The sensor uses an MQ-6 sensor and op-amp LM324 comparator to detect increased LPG gas leakage voltages. When leakage is detected, the ATMEL 89S52 microcontroller displays a gas leakage message on an LCD, activates a buzzer, and uses an L293D motor driver to turn a stepper motor 90 degrees to shut off the gas tank regulator. The system can be used for gas leak detection, fire safety detection, and as a gas leak alarm.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a novel safety means for detecting the leakage of gas into the area of an appliance when the appliance is in a shutdown condition and not in operation. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a novel gas detection and monitoring system which is economical to manufacture and which may be readily installed in conventional trailers, boats or the like which are normally dependent upon a stored supply of pressurized gas. Logic Mind Technologies Vijayangar (Near Maruthi Medicals), Bangalore-40 Ph: 8123668124 // 8123668066 The microcontroller used here is a common 8 bit Atmel microcontroller AT89S52.It is a low-power, high- performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller with12K bytes of In-System Programmable (ISP) Flash program memory and 2K bytes of EEPROM data memory. It has 32 programmable input output lines. Here MQ-6 sensor works on basics of combustion process, and output is given in variable voltage form, so, when LPG gas is leakage voltage at the output pin of MQ-6 is increased and we use IC2 (Op-amp LM324) as a comparator for compare the LPG leakage with respect to normal condition. Output of comparator is fed to IC1 microcontroller (ATMEL 89S52) and corresponding coding LCD is display gas leakage and give another instruction to stepper motor via L293D to turn 90o to turn off the regulator of gas tank. Additionally controller alert the user via activates the buzzer and cut the main supply.
