Germany's Glory Days And The Belief
In The Power Of The Empire

                 After World War
                 1, Germany was
                 struggling. Hitler
                 promised to restore the
                 power in Germany and
                 to bring back the spirit
                 in the beginning.
Widespread Distrust Of The Jewish
          Population
                • Throughout the
                  holocaust, Hilter
                  blamed the innocent
                  Jewish people for many
                  things, which caused
                  people to turn against
                  them and do what
                  Hilter ordered. Kill all
                  the Jews.
Weimar Republic - weak and divided
• The Weimar Republic was established after World
War I. This was a weak democracy that was
always associated with the Treaty of
Versailles. Hitler managed to exploit the
weaknesses of the Republic and play on peoples
desires for a strong government that could solve
  Germany's many problems. Interestingly Hitler
was elected into power as in late 1932 his Nazi
Party was the largest party in the Weimar
Republic. Once invited to form a government by
Hindenburg he then sort to use his power to
  establish a dictatorship.

  anti-capitalism, the Nazi party used
the Wall Street Crash and the Great

  Weimar Germany. Unemployment in
  Germany rose to 6 million.

         • The hyperinflation in the Weimar
Republic was a three year period
between June 1921 and July 1924.
After losing WWI. Germany had to
           pay huge amounts of reparations
because of the Treaty of Versailles
           which they manage to eventually.
The allies did not believe this, and
           invaded Germans most valuable
           industrial area. The economy
           started to suffer since workers
           couldn’t produce goods. To repair

           print money.

          use violence to get
          what he wanted led
          to a twelve-year
          reign and sparked a
          war that led to the
          deaths of some fifty
          million people.
Creation Of The Nazi Party 1920

  became the leader.
Ideology linked to what the people
     wanted / widespread appeal
• By Portraying a world • His idea’s sound
where everything was back more appealing
  on track……………. to his audience
                                which makes his
                                speech more
                                persuasive. This
                                helped Hitler's
                                rise.
