by the Wordpress.com.

You can’t upload/install
plugins or custom
themes.

and install plugins.

to host your Wordpress.

This tutorial will cover the

1. Registering a Domain Name.
2. Buying a Hosted Wordpress.
3. Installing Wordrpess.
4. Changing Wordpress password.

1. Register your
Domain Name

What is a Domain
Name?

Domain name is any
name registered in the
DNS (Domain Name
System).

Domain name simply
means the website
addresses.

Example of Domain Names
Wikipedia.org
Google.com
aimdynamicvp.com

You can register a
domain name in any
Domain Registrant.

For simplicity and
convenience sake...

we will register the
domain name with our
host website.

2. Buy a HOST

A host will house,
stores, and maintain
your website on a
server.

For this tutorial, the
recommended hosting
site is

Type in

Welcome to the

Click Get Started Now.

There are three available
plans.

Choose Hatchling Plan.

Click Sign Up Now.

Enter your domain name.

Suggested domain
name can be your first
and last name
or your business name.

These are the domain
name available.

Uncheck the Domain
Privacy Protection.

For now, we don’t need it.

Choose your hosting
plan.

Available billing cycle
options.

For this tutorial, I chose
the 3 months billing cycle.

Enter your Username.

And your Security PIN.

Please, write your
Username
and Security Pin
in a piece of paper.

Enter your billing
information.

Your credit card
information.

No additional services
needed

No need to change the
coupon code

Review your order details

Click Checkout Now!

Please wait while Hostgator is
building your account

Order Completed!

Hostgator will send to
your email
an order confirmation.

Check your email.

Log in to your email.

Open your email to see the
account information.

It will look like this.

Click
Your Control Panel link.

Your Hostgator Control
Panel.

Enter the username
from your account info.

Enter the password
from your account info.

Welcome to HostGator
Control Panel.

3. Installing Wordpress

Scroll down and
look for
Software and Services.

Software and Services.

Click QuickInstall.

This page will appear.

Click Install Wordpress.

Fill in the details.

Again, write these
information
in a piece of paper.

No need to write
anything on this area.

Admin email is your email.

Your blog title can be
your domain name.

Admin user – put your first
name and last name.

Enter your first name.

Enter your last name.

This page will open.

Click this.

Your install is running.

The installation is
complete.

Click My Installs.

The Wordpress was
installed.

Click Admin Login.

Enter your
Username or Email.

Your
Wordpress password
was sent to your email.

Open your email and
check the details.

You will see this
message.

Copy and paste your
password.

Click Log In.

This is your Wordpress
working page.

4. Change your
Wordpress password

Click Users.

Click on your username.

Scroll down to
Account Management.

Click Generate
Password.

Enter new password.

Choose strong
password.

Scroll down,
Click Update profile.

You now have a
hosted Wordpress
website! 
