Why use a MeSH heading for PubMed or OVID Medline? MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) are a preferred term that can find articles that contained synonyms or older versions of terms. CINAHL CINAHL® with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive source of full text for nursing & allied health journals. With full-text coverage dating back to 1981, provides indexing for over 2,900 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. The database contains more than 1,000,000 records dating back to 1981. CINAHL covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. Searchable cited references for more than 1,200 journals are also included..
What Can a Librarian Help with?   As an expert searcher, a librarian can  interact with students to develop the search terms required for an effective or comprehensive search .  This includes recommending overlooked resources.
Yale Document Delivery Borrow Direct Use Borrow Direct to borrow books from the libraries of Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, and Princeton. Most books are available for pick up at designated Yale libraries within 4 business days. If the book you want is not available from Borrow Direct, use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) .  Interlibrary Loan (ILLiAD) Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to obtain books, articles, and other research materials from a large network of suppliers. Books are often available for pick up at designated Yale libraries within 2 weeks. Copies of articles can be delivered to you electronically and are often available in 1-2 weeks.
