Rapidly changing business environments, technology trends, evolving customer expectations, multi-sourcing and
complex supply chains are leading to higher expectations of IT to help drive improved business outcomes.
However, most enterprises spend more than 40% of their IT investment on overhead work and less than 60% of
their time on productive, value added activities. Business can enhance agility by improving their overall software
delivery efficiency and by eliminating the unnecessary friction and wasted energy in the end-to-end software
development and delivery lifecycle. However, speed must be balanced with cost and risk. IBM DevOps approach
provides an enterprise capability for continuous software delivery that enables organizations to seize market
opportunities and reduce time to customer feedback. For details on four adoption paths and six related practices

4) IBM and Ecosystem DevOps practices for an incremental adoption of DevOps: We are
announcing new services, practices and tools to help customers plan and execute a staged
adoption of DevOps practices to improve their business outcomes. The goal of the Adoption
Framework is to help customers adopt a lean way of working to achieve business value and work
leaner. The focus is not on adoption, but on achieving measurable business outcomes. The
DevOps Adoption Framework includes 3 key components - Adoption Model, Solutions and
Community.
Consulting Services What’s new
DevOps Self-Assessment  DevOps practice proficiency assessment is designed to provide
our clients with a self-guided appraisal of their DevOps practices.
This offering covers practices in each of the DevOps adoption
paths defined in IBM's approach to DevOps. During the

Intellicorp  Intellicorp, an IBM business partner is announcing LivePublish
1.0. This adds competitive advantage to Rational Requirements
Composer in the SAP market. SAP Solution Manager is mandated
by SAP. By integrating Rational Requirements Composer with SAP
Solution Manager, LivePublish makes it easier for customers to
adopt Rational Requirements Composer when implementing SAP
projects. Alternative to LivePublish would be manually re-key the
data. For small projects that could take about 10-20 days rising to
50-90 days for a large project.

A current list of IBM trademarks is available on the Web at “Copyright and trademark information” at www.ibm.com/legal/copytrade.shtml. Rapidly changing business environments, technology trends, evolving customer expectations, multi-sourcing and complex supply chains are leading to higher expectations of IT to help drive improved business outcomes. However, most enterprises spend more than 40% of their IT investment on overhead work and less than 60% of their time on productive, value added activities. Business can enhance agility by improving their overall software delivery efficiency and by eliminating the unnecessary friction and wasted energy in the end-to-end software development and delivery lifecycle. However, speed must be balanced with cost and risk. IBM DevOps approach provides an enterprise capability for continuous software delivery that enables organizations to seize market opportunities and reduce time to customer feedback.
