New commerce portal users can now sign up on their own!
The email entered will be subject to system checks to ensure:
- Email is valid
- Email domain is not blacklisted domain
- Email is not tied to an existing User
- Contact is added/linked to an existing Account if the email domain matches
- A new Account is created together with the contact if it is a new email domain

Assistive Selling – Variant Comparison
Making a fast and reliable decision is crucial for improving the speed, effectiveness and precision
in quoting. What if, the material variants could be previewed before selecting or using them for
the existing quote configuration? Here it is, the product variant comparison allows to compare up
to 5 product variants before taking any action:

Specification View for Configuration
In the manufacturing world, technical specifications consist of data sheets and drawings. Having a
simple tabular view of the material configuration while compiling it, gives the user the most
natural way of looking at the summary of the configuration. Need to copy & paste? Simply copy
the configuration and paste it into email, or other documents…

User control & performance
Configuring quickly through the quote is enhanced by further support of having the option that
the configuration will call the back-end system only on request. It may be useful that once several
fields have been edited, that the user will trigger the roundtrip call collectively by choice. Either
because the entire configuration should be reloaded or because the field is the only field that
needed an update after coming back to the configuration. Configuration update may now be
controlled by the user on demand.

While creating a quote or assigning a partner relationship to the quote, it is a relief to not only
search the required account via name but find the right account. Finding the right account
details via additional search fields improves the overall speed and precision. Errors can be
avoided while being faster on target.

Fast entry of line-item specific data
A lot of the information entry is a tedious work for a sales person, but needs to be done. Many
times that information is data entry such as tender specific info to a line item, some additional
flags, and so on. Hence anything that helps the sales person entering this information as easy as
possible is via the quote’s line-item table without changing the screen for each item.
This release will allow users to customise what details they would need shown on the quotation
page. Particularly for unique sales attribute items within product details, such customisation
would be additionally useful. See below some customization examples possible:

Sales BoM quantities update
Bill of material quantities may end up in extremely complex combinations and calculations. With
this enhancement the user receives much better support and guidance on where and what is
allowed to be updated and which quantities are defined purely by the system. Overall this will
drive down a lot the errors and corrections required during the sales cycle.
A new pop-up drives user efficiency in providing firstly, a summary of the update-eligible line-
items and a quick-to-goal user interface which minimizes user clicks by only looking at ONE
interaction with the system

Copying quotes and generating Report files may consume a long time and force the user to wait
and lose time in being productive in the system. Therefore such jobs can be executed in the
background. After the task has been stipulated the user shall be able to continue his work and
get notified once the job is done via Email.

Collaboration
Complex sales can only be successful with orchestrated and laser-focused collaboration. While
Activities help to deliver on structured tasks and meetings, the collaboration feature in CRM brings
transparency to conversations around specific deals, or updates on accounts, etc. With the ‘Virtual
Team’ representing a group of people in different roles being kept in the loop, it’s now possible to
display the virtual team as well as send reminders of tasks around (e.g. new task assigned, status
update/ change on tasks, etc.).

Searching and filtering pipeline information are essential for Sarah to stay on top of her individual
pipeline as well as her manager, to browse deals for his team. With 21/08, the pipeline view has
been optimized to reduce the number of clicks to filter the pipeline accordingly and a new feature
to display the top/bottom X number of records, widgets like ‘Top 3 Deals This Quarter’ can be
created.

  • 19. Specification View for Configuration In the manufacturing world, technical specifications consist of data sheets and drawings. Having a simple tabular view of the material configuration while compiling it, gives the user the most natural way of looking at the summary of the configuration. Need to copy & paste? It may be useful that once several fields have been edited, that the user will trigger the roundtrip call collectively by choice. Either because the entire configuration should be reloaded or because the field is the only field that needed an update after coming back to the configuration. Configuration update may now be controlled by the user on demand.   • 23. Search and Select Accounts While creating a quote or assigning a partner relationship to the quote, it is a relief to not only search the required account via name but find the right account. Finding the right account details via additional search fields improves the overall speed and precision. Errors can be avoided while being faster on target.   • 24. Fast entry of line-item specific data A lot of the information entry is a tedious work for a sales person, but needs to be done. Many times that information is data entry such as tender specific info to a line item, some additional flags, and so on. Hence anything that helps the sales person entering this information as easy as possible is via the quote’s line-item table without changing the screen for each item. This release will allow users to customise what details they would need shown on the quotation page. Particularly for unique sales attribute items within product details, such customisation would be additionally useful.   • 25. Sales BoM quantities update Bill of material quantities may end up in extremely complex combinations and calculations. With this enhancement the user receives much better support and guidance on where and what is allowed to be updated and which quantities are defined purely by the system. Overall this will drive down a lot the errors and corrections required during the sales cycle.
