Education

Promoting 21st Century Skills: In 2008, the Intel® Teach Program expanded to 3 new countries (Palestine, Kenya, and Hungary).
                         Skills:
To date, the program has trained over 6M teachers in more than 40 countries in how to improve teaching and learning through
the effective use of technology.

Expanded Science Fair Support In October 2008, Intel committed $120 million over the next 10 years to stimulate more interest
                      Support:
among youth in math and science, so they will be prepared to address global challenges in innovative ways.

Intel Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge: In November 2008, 22 teams from 15 countries competed in the Intel UC
                                           Challenge
Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge for a cash prize and valuable exposure to more than 20 leading venture capital
firms in California’s Silicon Valley.

Intel Learn in Mexico: The Mexican Ministry of Social Development (MOSD) announced in January, 2009 that it would invest
approximately USD 300K to co-fund the Intel Learn program in 2009 and 2010. This commitment will grow Mexico's participating
CTCs from an existing 73 to 200, and will increase the number of learners from 16,000 in 2008 to a projected 30,000 in 2009.

Environment

Green Power Awards In October 2008, Intel received the US EPA’s Green Power Leadership Award and was also named a Green
            Awards:
Power Partner of the Year.

Citizenship

1M Volunteer Hours: In celebration of Intel’s 40th anniversary, Intel employees mentored and tutored, cleaned up beaches and
               Hours:
restored streams, planted trees and vegetable gardens, painted walls and art work, and walked, fasted, and ran their way to more
than 1.3M volunteer hours. In the end, over 47,000 employees volunteered in more than 40 countries for nearly 5,500 local
schools, community support organizations and non-profits, making a huge difference for the communities in which our employees
live and work.

China CSR Awards: In November, China Corporate Citizenship Forum presented two awards to Intel China Ltd. for its outstanding
           Awards:
contributions toward the country's earthquake relief efforts and for corporate citizenship and responsibility. Intel won the "Grand

CSR Award” and received the “Extraordinary Contribution Award” for rapid response and outstanding contribution to Sichuan
earthquake relief efforts.

Community Giving Campaign: In the US, Intel employees responded to the growing needs in our communities with astounding
                    Campaign:
generosity. Despite uncertain business conditions, this year’s Community Giving Campaign donations reached a record level of
$11.7 million, including $622K from Intel retirees, a 10.5% increase over 2007. With the Intel Foundation match, the total
contribution will be more than $22.5 million.
