The vehicle used for testing the DPF regeneration function was our Subaru Forester, which is driven around the Campus but also has extended idle time during student activities. During the successful test we were surprised at just how blocked the DPF was! This was a good experience for our students to see how software is developed for aftermarket scan tools and the testing that happens behind the scenes. With the new software update we are able to expand the scope of learning activities for our students when using the Subaru Forester, giving them a positive learning experience.
