INtroduction
Internet of things:
• The internet of things is going to be the next
revolutionary field in the upcoming future
• The internet of things deals around having a network of all
the electronic devices.
• All the data is linked to a cloud and the devices that are
connected to the cloud can access the data.
• The internet of things not only deals with data portability
but also connectivity of other electronic devices like the
television,air conditioners by implementing a SMART
GRID
• ALl the electronic devices are connected together in a
INtroduction
• Each electronic device is given an ip address and has the
ability to transfer data in the network as well as to different
machines
• The Interet of things involves usage of many sensors and
embeded chips which can be programmed to do certain
tasks
• The internet of things can also be applied for large
Industries where all the equipments can be integrated into
a single network and these equipments may transfer data
between them and the network
• THis increases the synchronization among the equipments
and statistical analysis can be made at every step
Trends
• Cloud Computing
cloud computing is one of the
latest trends.
• The cloud computing is a virtual
memory space which can be
accessed from any device
• The data is not confined one
location and it does not require
huge servers and memory
spaces.
• The only requirement for cloud
computing is a high speed internet
connection
• The security will be improved due
to centralization of data
• The maintenance is reduced due
to lack of excessive hardware
• It allows Multitenancy(Allows
many user to access a single
data)
• Artificial Intelligence:
• The artificial intelligence is
one of the greatest trends
• The artifical intelligence
deals with the different
ways to make a computer
think like a human being
• The artifical intelligence will
simplify human lives in a
numerous ways
INterest Areas
• My area of interest is to integrate all the electronic devices into a single
mobile application or to program each electronic device that can be
connected to the network and developing applications and network modules
for these devices.
• I would love to implement artificial intelligence into internet of things and
develop mobile applications to control the electronic devices.
• The internet of things can be used in the field of medical science where
patients health can be detected and managed by a biometric sensor and
these health stats can be transferred to a nearby hospital in terms of
emergencies
• Develop Smart homes where every electronic device is connected to a
network and the user can access or give instructions remotely.
• Given an internship in this area , I would love to develop
applications,network modules,programming devices for machine to machine
communications and if possible develop future applications Like embedding
artificial intelligence into Internet of THings
