  BTEC Extended Diplomain Creative Media Production IG4 Final Major Project Production Diary Kate Mather PROGRESS UPDATE PLAN FOR NEXT MONTH / WEEK(Including Possible Contingency Plans If Problems Anticipated) Mon W/B 07/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Mon W/B 14/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) I made a list of task’s I needed to complete in order to pass the project. I put the tasks into a schedule so I know what days to do the different tasks on so I’m more organised and each week I have something to do so I don’t get behind in my work. I’ve not had to rearrange any of my tasks from my schedule. Next week I will be doing my initial ideas for my animationand by the end of the week I will hopefully have my final idea picked so It gives me more time to do my other tasks. Mon W/B 21/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) This week I did a mind map of all the ideas I could do for my final major project. I researched the different animation types to see which one I’d like to do. For next week I will be working on my final major project proposal. Mon W/B 28/01/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) This week I have chosen my final idea and wrote a detailed proposal. I have chosen the content, target audience and the techniques I will use. Next week I willstart researching. Mon W/B 04/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) I have been researching ideas similar to my idea and target audience to give me more of an idea. Next week I will continue researching. Mon W/B 11/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) I started to draw out the designs for my animation, I choose my favourite ones and drew them out in black pen so I can scan them in and upload them on the computer to I can use them as a template when I start drawing them out on the Illustrator. Mon W/B 18/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) I continued with the research, I looked at different animation companies and how they do there animations. I will start working on my storyboards. Mon W/B 25/02/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) I have started doing my storyboards so I know what happens at what time when I start to edit my animation together. Next week I will hopefully start drawing my designs on Illustrator. Mon W/B 04/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) This week I will be starting to prepare for my pitch. I will start my presentation next week for my pitch.

Next week I will practicemy pitch. Mon W/B 18/03/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Had my pitch. Next few weeks I will start drawing my animation on the computer. Mon W/B 01/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Drew out my animations on the computer. Will continue drawing out my pictures. Mon W/B 08/04/13 (Detailed Weekly Summary) Started putting my animation together. Will continue to put my animation together.
