  Why is itimportant to me?Lab safety is important because anyone at any time can get hurt if they do not follow directions. Always follow the lab safety rules.

  How it willhelp me in the futureThis lab safety unit will help me in the future because whenever I am in the lab it will always help to keep me safe, as long as I follow the rules. For example when I am using chemicals, I will now always be careful not to pour them down the sink!!!

  Other situationsOther situationsare when you are at home. Like when you are at home you can’t just throw cleaning supplies in the garbage. You have to properly dispose of them. Another situation is when you are taking something out of the oven you have to wear a mitt.

  SUMMARYLab safety isvery important. Now that I know what to do these safety rules will help me in the future. Lab safety is important to me because I can get hurt if I do not do the right thing. I will use these safety rules when I am at home because sometimes I will be using the same kind of chemicals at home. This unit has really taught me how to be safe in a lab.
