Laravel 5.4 has been officially released with new features such as Laravel Dusk for browser testing, real-time facades, and markdown mail templates. The update introduces Laravel Mix as a build tool, enhanced Redis cluster support, and improved collections with higher order messages. Additional features include blade components and slots, along with various middleware and eloquent event enhancements.

- 3. LARAVEL DUSK Laravel Dusk is overall a browser testing tool for JavaScript enabled applications i.e button and link clicks within an application. It utilizes ChromeDriver and Facebook Php-webdriver. It works with the Selenium browser, but it arrives with ChromeDriver by default that saves you from installing JDK or Selenium.
