- 2. W h a t i s l a y o u t ? Layout is an application that allows you to incorporate up to nine photos into one collaged post. The application was released by Instagram, so it is fully compatible with it's parent application and easy to share posts.
- 3. Step 1: Download the App Head on over to the app store. Search for "Layout." This is the icon. Download the application.
- 4. Step 2: Set Up Click to Open. Allow the application to access your photos. Click here to begin using the application.
- 5. Select Photos By default the application will show you all your photos. If you would like to narrow it down, click "Faces" or "Recents" here. Tap the photos you want to use (you can select up to 9).
- 6. Tap the layout you want to use. Layouts will show up once you begin selecting photos. Slide your finger to the right to see more options. Choose the Layout
- 7. Tap whichever photo you want to resize, replace, mirror, or flip. Then tap the corresponding button at the bottom. Editing To change what part of the photo is shown in the collage, slide the photo up or down. You can also zoom in or out.
- 8. To resize photos, slide the blue bar up or down Editing If you click replace, you will be brought back to the photo selector. Once you pick a new photo, you'll be brought back to this screen Click save when you are done. The photo will be automatically saved to your photos. Click here to return to the layout options.
- 9. Sharing If you do not want to share immediately, just click done and you will be brought back to the homescreen of the app. Click on the social platform you want to share to, and you're all set!
