Jobs in the city
Introduction
• When we talk about jobs and occupations we use the
Present Simple tense.
• The simple present is used to describe a present
situation:
For example:
I’m a teacher.
I work at school.
I teach the English for pupils.
I enjoy my job.

• When we tell jobs and occupations on the 3rd person we
change the verbs in correct form of Present Simple tense!
(add the –s for verbs)
For example:
He is a traffic officer.
He works outside on the road.
He controls traffic in the street.
He enjoys his job.
