- 34. #1 Make your lights wireless • Interface WiART to existing streetlights to make them wireless. • WiART is a low power radio frequency module which supports two way wireless communication. • Supports relay ON / OFF and 0-10 V analog output for dimming. • All wireless lights form a mesh network and support hopping of data and larger area coverage.

Use case #2: GreenLightt for petrol pump station • The fuel pump station lighting solution consists of WiART enable lighting nodes with ON / OFF control and dimming. • Motion sensors are interfaced to detect the location of vehicles, such as at ENRTY and EXIT points. • Predefined logic to control the intensity of light (dimming / ON / OFF) based on the vehicle location sensed by motion sensor and to ensure optimized visibility to the driver. • Other lights which are not in use are dimmed or switched OFF. • Example: • When vehicle motion when sensed at entry of petrol pump station pre configured lights shall switch ON other lights shall be in dimming mode / switch OFF. • When the vehicle leaves the station, motion is detected by the motion sensor at exit of petrol pump station. Lights shall switch OFF after a predefined time of interval.

- 52. Q & A Q. Does the solution work with existing lights? A. Yes. WiART-LC enabled automatic street lighting solution is a retrofit solution and can work with existing lighting panels and fixtures of all types. Q. Our roads are not straight, will WiART still work? A. Yes. WiART series of modules are based on low power radio frequency with 360 degree wireless connectivity. It is able to communicate across obstacles, large angles and curves. Q. Is it possible to turn off lights manually? A. Yes. The solution supports manual override feature and no modification is required in existing wiring.

ON / OFF schedule can be changed through the below user touch points: SMS through registered mobile, smart phone application, cloud based application. Q. How do I control dimming? A. WiART supports 0-10 V analog / PWM output for dimming of the lighting fixture. Also, occupancy sensor based diming logic can be implemented for controlling lighting fixture. Q. Do I need continuous Internet access every day to turn lights ON / OFF? A. No. A fixed schedule once updated on the server shall be stored on the DCU and shall work without connectivity. Q & A

No. The solution is based on low power radio frequency and one SIM card shall be required every cluster of lighting panels / light poles. Q. Is the solution weather proof / tamper proof? A. Yes. WiART modules come with required provision and installation guidelines to avoid tampering and protection from weather. Q. Would we get an alert if a light is not working? A. Yes.
