- 9. ABOUT DATMOBIL DatMobil is a platform-independent, SOA-based information integration suite that can be customized to be used as the transportation backbone for the proposed CKM. DatMobil ensures secure, reliable, automatic, scalable, flexible, configurable and organized system to make search requests available to enterprise-wide “search locations.” It delivers matching information and documents to requesters in a controlled and auditable fashion. DatMobil’s underlying “hub-and-spoke” architecture provides optimum integration between “disconnected” business and technology environments. The DatMobil Engine component centrally controls all communication activities, user and business partner authentications, communication and data channel configuration/management. It also maintains audit trails and manages the problem notification and escalation process. The DatMobil Client modules are originating-point foreground or background applications that interface with functional modules. The DatMobil Client Daemon modules are end-point background applications where requests are received and triggering processes are managed and executed.
