Within these processes are many predictiable, rote tasks. By automating routine tasks organizations can execute faster, reduce errors, and free up people to work on more meaningful projects.  Our SAP Build Process Automation solution combines workflow management to help create forms, manage decision logic, and build, adapt, and organize process flows with simple drag-and-drop functionalities. And robotic process automation to automate human tasks. These can be attended or unattended so people can support the task or have it run hands-free. This is all possible with a no-code front end business users can use themselves, or with the support of IT.  Pre-built content and connectors for SAP and non-SAP solutions helps you get started quickly. 3) INTEGRATION Integrate applications on premise, in the cloud or in a hybrid model, while securely connecting applications, processes and people. The rest is sitting in disconnected systems or data lakes, where it is of low value for the customer as it is not contextualized. Coming from a siloed data landscape SAP decided to act and worked on the integration of the Intelligent Suite components on the BTP platform. Driven by process integration the result is a first version of an aligned data model across the suite components, that allows the execution of end-to-end business processes.  This aligned data model acts like a fertilizer for the gras. Highly valuable data that is connected to each other – everybody is eager for.  Besides this it provides SAP the basis to harness the value of the individual datasets as they are connected to each other. For this SAP BTP provides a broad range of capabilities in DATA & ANALYTICS for DATABASE (as a Service) (storage (in-memory, disc, object store – basically the data pyramid), multi-model engines, embedded ML (APL, PAL) & federation capabilities (SDA), developer tooling to build powerful applications) DATA MANAGEMENT (pipelining, real-time transformations (view building), self-service data preparation, self-service modeling (analytical & relational)  DATA Warehouse rich set of connectivity for data integration incl real-time (RTR), data quality, metadata management, master data management (here I would stray conservative), data governance & cataloging, data access management)  ANALYTICS & PLANNING (BI, planning, predictive) This capabilities gives you the possibility to Integrate, Store, Catalog, Prepare, Model and Share your data, in- and outside of your company. 5) AI Intelligent technology solutions change the way we live and work by optimizing processes, maximizing resources, and igniting innovation with the right combination of intelligent technologies, services, and industry expertise. • #5: Side-by-side extensibility on SAP BTP Can or should be decoupled from SAP S/4HANA core (loosely coupled – for example via event or http remote API calls). Is a hub scenario (i.e., integrates with several SAP S/4HANA systems, other SAP solutions, or additional cloud services). Is a multi-tenant partner SaaS solution which is operated by the partner independent of the SAP S/4HANA operation. Requires heavy mobile usage with BTP’s native device capabilities or even needs to be used in offline scenarios. Requires process automation for SAP S/4HANA processes or across multiple systems. Is intended to be used by users who do not have access to the SAP S/4HANA system (e.g., a client in a web shop) Requires scalability/elasticity in peak load scenarios and should not put availability of SAP S/4HANA at risk due to infrastructure resources Benefits from frequent shipments and changes (CI/CD) of the extension – independent of SAP S/4HANA custom code lifecycle Benefits from a broad spectrum of developers with different skill sets (ABAP Cloud, Java, JavaScript, Python, Low-Code)

• #11: Enable developers to build and extend powerful end-to-end business applications with proven SAP standard technologies, powered by gen AI Joule in SAP Build Code now enhances application and extension development, supporting SAP Cloud Application Programming Model – known as CAP–, SAP Fiori UI and UI5. Mobile and Hana native development will follow soon. An interactive chat experience allows developers to easily refactor existing CAP projects by adding and removing entities, modifying properties, and creating associations. In addition, developers will soon be able to access support and best practice content from SAP Help and SAP Community interacting with Joule in SAP Build Code. For example, if a developer would be looking how to integrate SAP Ariba using a BTP destination she’ll get answers from Joule on how to do that. Also to come soon: the capabilities to ask Joule to explain code and access code snippets to accelerate their SAP development with Build Code.
• #12: Workflows and Automations – simplify process and task automation AI in the space of workflows and automation: Embedded Generative AI capabilities in SAP Build will soon allow for editing and summarizing processes, decisions, forms, and other artifacts through natural language descriptions, making it faster and easier to automate processes. In addition, SAP Task Center's intelligent approval recommendation capability enables faster and better decisions based on machine learning, streamlining operations, and improving efficiency with AI-driven insights. Document extraction using Generative AI offers advanced natural language processing, eliminating the need for costly template creation and maintenance.
• #13: Work Zone Central access to SAP and custom-built apps & extensions, as well as third-party solutions (cloud / on-premise) Personalized, role-based user experience with search, tasks, notifications, cards, micro-experiences, and more. Engaging digital workplace & employee portal experience blending business data with unstructured information (docs, news, video, etc.) Empower business users with self-services for information sharing & enablement (knowledge base, forum, wiki AI in the space of Digital Workspaces SAP Build will soon enhance the end-user experience by integrating Joule in SAP Build Work Zone Standard, SAP Start and SAP Mobile Start. End users will be able to interact with Joule and get answers related to any of their business applications, for example asking Joule for the status of a specific purchase order and helping the user navigate to it. With this, Joule in SAP Build is not only enhancing the building experience but also the end-user experience, empowering everyone to work faster and smarter. The SAP Build Work Zone Advanced integration with Joule will follow soon to provide the same Gen AI-powered experiences to end users.
• #14: ABAP Integration: When we say ABAP will be included in SAP Build, what this means is that developers can now create their ABAP Cloud projects from the SAP Build lobby and then navigate to the ABAP development environment – the ABAP Development Tools (or short: ADT) – to create new, or work on existing ABAP Cloud projects. Developers will also be able to monitor their ABAP projects from the lobby, right next to their other Build projects. This includes ABAP projects developed with both the S/4HANA ABAP environment – also referred to as ‘on stack extensibility - as well as the BTP ABAP environment – also referred to as ‘side-by-side extensibility’.
• #15: ABAP Integration: When we say ABAP will be included in SAP Build, what this means is that developers can now create their ABAP Cloud projects from the SAP Build lobby and then navigate to the ABAP development environment – the ABAP Development Tools (or short: ADT) – to create new, or work on existing ABAP Cloud projects. • #16: AI in ABAP We are also introducing new generative AI capabilities in ABAP Cloud to increase developer efficiency. The first scope of features is planned for early 2025 and will cover business object generation, code completion, unit test generation, code explanation and alike. With that we will deliver a Joule copilot in  ABAP development, fully integrated into ABAP Development Tools. Moreover, the ABAP AI developers will be able to easily leverage the SAP BTP GenAI Hub natively through an ABAP SDK to bring generative AI capabilities into their business applications.

• #18: The Extensibility Wizard an integrated SAP Build experience that lets developers access SAP Build directly from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to create extensions – both on stack and side by side on SAP BTP. What this effectively means is that extension developers can now choose to extend S/4 directly from any S/4HANA application like “Manage Sales Orders” or “Create Billing Documents”  As you can see in the visual, they have the option to simply click “create extension” and the wizard navigates them smoothly thru the extension of new processes with SAP Build. Today, we can extend custom field and custom logic on S/4 and processes in SAP Build, but soon we’ll also give customers the option of creating Custom Fiori App and UI5 Adaptation from SAP Build code leveraging the wide range of SAP Build capabilities.
