• “Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It
means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no
parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it.
Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up
with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right
alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that
long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” Hebrews 12:1-3 MSG

It Means We Better Get On With It

1. Waste no more time,

• Do not entangle yourself
2.start running—and never quit!
• Start doing what you are called to do,
• You can't wait for attending Bible College
• You can't wait to have money / to be married
3.No extra spiritual fat,
• Spiritual fat is necessary but not extra
• Fat: protects your vital organs
• Once extra you will be obese and run a risk of having
• Things that are pulling you down
4.no parasitic sins.
• In its nature it is parasitic

Keep / Fix Your Eyes On Jesus
1.Why would the writer plead the Hebrew saints to fix their eyes on Jesus
• He really did speak to our forefathers through the prophets BUT today He has spoken through Jesus
• He specifies that Jesus is above Angels

4. As a matter of fact He is the road
• Remember He said "I am the Way"
