My Job Responsibilities in Maaden Aluminium Refinery – Engineering Department Identify Projects – Based on Client requirement and Project list provided by them my responsibility to review the list whether project is CAPEX, OPEX or NODs. If Project comes under CAPEX category then forward to management for approval. MOC preparation & Preparation of Business case – MOC and Business case approval is important steps to get approval from Client to execute the projects. FEED Preparation – FEED report preparation and review help to get Feasibility Study of the project and help to prepare Project estimate cost (+_ 30%) Fund Approval – To get fund approval from higher management preparation of PDRB report is very essential practice followed by us which covered feasibility report, Level 1 Schedule, Project Organization structure, Man hours & fund required, Tentative major BOQ. FEL3– After getting fund approval Projects move to following steps:- Detail Engineering - wherein RFQ to be float for Detail Engineering, Review bids documents, prepare Technical review plan, contractor finalization, KOM, man hours assign for each discipline, preparation of document control sheet, Review each transmittal and attached drawing & document provided by engineering contractor. Procurement – Prepare list of detail BOQ, Planning, monitoring, controlling spreadsheet, Progress monitoring spreadsheet, Reporting formats, Level 2 & 3 schedule, RFQ for execution contractor, Technical review of Bidders, follow up with buyers for contract award. Direct /indirect project Material which are ti be bought by us to be indended in Oracle and follow up with buyer to get delivered all materials on site as per schedule. Project Execution - KOM with contractor, prepare list of HSE requirement as per nature of Projects and submit to contract to comply the Maaden HSE requirement. Review Project execution plan, construction matrices, SPA detail, review and stick with Level 4 schedule prepare by contractor following level 3 Schedule. Reporting – Preparation of cumulative report of various projects and submit to management daily, weekly and monthly basis. Dash board
- 2. report preparation for top management including RPRM presentation monthly basis. Pivot table report is best tools for reporting and submits to management for their review. Get information of projects form construction engineers to update schedule and progress monitoring sheet to calculate % Plan & Actual , S-Curve, Histogram Commissioning & Close out – Assist commissioning team to complete site walk down, categories the Punch lists, schedule to attend Punch list by contractor, pre commissioning & commissioning activities and final approval from client . Prepare handing over documents and handover the projects to end client and get sign off.
