The study investigates the distribution, abundance, and diversity of freshwater molluscs in Nakana Lake, Dhule, from June 2013 to May 2014, identifying 13 species, predominantly gastropods. Seasonal variations revealed that species richness and abundance peaked in summer, with various diversity indices calculated to assess molluscan diversity. The research highlights the ecological significance of molluscs and their role as bioindicators in assessing environmental health.
