Md. Masum Chowdhury is working in the Brand management, marketing and sales department
for last 12 years in fastest growing pharmaceutical companies of the country. He is currently
holding the position as a Manager, Strategic Brand Marketing Department at Asiatic
Laboratories Limited. Prior to joining Asiatic, he started his career as a Hospital Pharmacist at
Central Hospital, Dhaka. Later, he worked in different positions at different pharmaceutical
companies like Techno Drugs Ltd., EMark Germany, Pharmex India, and Asiatic. Throughout
his career, he has been actively involved in launching many Pharmaceutical products. For the
first time in Bangladesh, he has launched more than 35 Pharmaceutical Products like Broad
Spectrum Antibiotic: Meropenem Inj. Imipenem+cilastatin Inj. Levofloxacin Infusion,
Diagnostic Agents: Iopamidol Inj., Iohexol Inj., Anesthetic Agents: Vecuronium Inj.,
Atracuronium Inj., Rocuronium Inj., Hormonal Agents: Tibolone Tablet, Conjugated Estrogen
etc. Md. Masum, also launched EMark, Germany products like Concor Tablet, Concorcor
Tablet, Ultracarbon Tablet and Vigantoletten Oil for the first time in Bangladesh. Md. Masum
Chowdhury is a certified Trainer of Bangladesh Pharmacy Council and has conducted many
organizational training programs. He is passionate for developing pharma people's future as a
successful leader in pharma sales and marketing.
He is a regular contributor to Mashik Gonoshasthaya and other magazine. Mr. Masum has
attended many training programs conducted by DCCI, BIM, MCCI, FBCCI, DU, Prothomalo
Jobs, Bdjobs, Briddi.
