
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth
abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and
fowl that may fly above the earth in the open
firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great
whales, and every living creature that moveth,
which the waters brought forth abundantly, after
their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and
God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them,
saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters
in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And
the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living
creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast
of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made
the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their
kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his
kind: and God saw that it was good. Creation man in the
image of God26 And God said, Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man
  in his own image, in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed
them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and
over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
 Tohelp redefine
 “potential” and
 “how to maximize
 potential.”
 God is omnipotent. That is,
    the source of all potential.

 Man was created in the
    image and likeness of God.
    this suggests that in man,
    there is measure of God’s
    potential.
 Quest for survival:
    defines living for just
    basic needs for mere
    existence.

 Mediocrity:
    (averageness): a quality
    that is adequate or
    acceptable, but not very
    good.
 All trees in the creation process, were produced with
    it’s seed within.
 All animals were commanded to reproduce after
their kind, in their various habitat. Therefore, it
suggest that there is a seed of creation in every
    animal.
 Man was commanded to dominate. This suggests
that there is a capacity (potential) in man for
    dominion.
 The source of all plants is the ground.
 The source of all animals is the ground.
 The source of all men is both God and the ground.
 “Potential” means:
 Capacity to develop, succeed, or become
  something.
 Untapped power
 Latent/unused ability
 The purpose of man’s
    potential is to dominate. Not
other men, but in your own
    area of influence (your niche).
    Man’s major problem is his
    abuse of the dominion
    mandate; he wants to put
    others into slavery (under
    control), he wants to compete
with other men, he wants to
be a duplicate of the other
    man.

            SUBDUE
 Fruitful: defines creativity, productivity, manufacturing
and generating results after it’s kind in units.
 Multiply: defines increasing the outcome of results through
an efficient system and discovering new areas to explore for
  productivity.
 Replenish: defines breaking new grounds in activities
where your products haven’t reach and also breaking limits
or not been localized in your exploit or productive
  activities.
 Subdue: defines becoming a person of authority in your
own field of expertise. In other words, it means making a
  name for yourself.
name signifies: identity, authority, and integrity.
Your source

    Your Your

                      limitations

                                      Your
         Your niche
                                    creativity
 Questions.
1. Understand who you are and why you
     believe what you believe in.
 John the Baptist said; I am the voice of Him
that cries in the wilderness, prepare the way
of the Lord. This was after several questions
of whether he was both one of the prophets
and Elijah has been asked (John 1:20-24).
 Jesus said for this cause was I born to bring
     salvation to mankind.
2. Believe In Yourself
 If you don’t believe you can do it, why should
anyone else believe in you? Have a winning
    attitude.
 Esther said, “if I perish I perish.” Esther 4:16
 This also describes possibility mentality. The
    Tower of Babel experience Gen.11.
3. Start with what you have and from where
you are. Situation-it is not enough.
 From the parable of talents; the two servants
that traded with what they had succeeded
     (Mat.25:14-30).

 The widow of Zarephath (1kgs 4:1-7).
4. Set excellence as a standard.
Do not give room for just good, very good, but
 for the best. Excellence is:
 Delivering superior quality;
 To constantly upgrade and update;
 To go beyond the mark.
5. Right timing.
 Everything about Christ was about timing
     (John 2:4), (John 7:6).
 Moses exposed himself at the wrong time (.
He could not manage the it (Exo.2:11-15).
 The children of Issachar understood time and
they new what to do and their brethren were
     subject to them .
6. Surround Yourself With The Right People
.Learning is essential in just about anything
you wish to accomplish. To learn and grow
faster, find people with similar interests to
your own who are successful. If they are
successful, they probably have a winning
attitude and have many experiences you can
 learn from.
7. Develop the stewardship mentality
 This means the mentality of distributorship,
  influence, accountability etc.
 It was the stewardship of Joseph that took him from
his father’s house through Pothiphar’s house to the
palace. It was David’s stewardship that took him
from his father’s house to the palace.
 It was Elisha’s stewardship that took him from his
father’s house to become a prophet after Elijah.
8. Set strategic plans
 Set plans that are „S.M.A.R.T‟
 S: specific
 M: measurable
 A: attainable
 R: realistic
 T: timely
9. Stay in touch with the God of potential.
 When Adam lost touch with the omnipotent
God, his potential became capped (dormant).
He lost capacity to function in the dominion
     mandate of God.
10. Avoid short cuts.
 One of the major problem of believers is
impatience. The time of waiting is considered
the most valuable period in the lives of a man
    (Exo.13:17).
 Questions.
 The fulfillment of your dominion-mandate is
tied to your potential. Thank you and God
    bless.
