The Baptist Ministers Alliance and Rev. Al Sharpton are coming together to respond to the Brandon Johnson incident through a "Together We Stand" prayer service. [1] Rev. Sharpton will serve as the keynote speaker and the Alliance will unveil a "Stop, Chill and Think" campaign to reduce violence. [2] The service will be held on July 11 at Eastern Star Church to call the community together in prayer and respond to findings about the Brandon Johnson case and comments by the public safety director.
