This project is a web-based project, the system maintains vendors, category of products they are supplying, products under each category, discount, and payment modes such as DD, Cheque ,and online payment mode Credit Card. This system also maintains the order details, to provide the valuable reports regarding sales to the organization whenever they want. Here we are providing the administration part too for the organization. Functional Requirements: ✓ It is a pharmaceuticals site which gives solutions to the Pharmacy companies to take orders from its distributors ✓ Individual profile management for all kind of users. Online query handlings for all users. Queries can be general or directed to communicate from distributer to admin and customer to distributer. ✓ Facilitate communication between user, experts and general public through - Discussion forum/chat/mail/polls ✓ Information about new product should be displayed daily ✓ Web-pharmaceuticals is managed and operated by pharmacists and medical communications specialists ✓ Provider for pharmaceutical and health related organizations ✓ Web-pharmaceuticals has a large readership composed of patients, health professionals and scientists Non-functional Requirements ➢Secure access of confidential data (user’s details) should be provided.24 X 7 availability of the application ➢Application should be accessible over Internet. ➢ Better component design to get better performance at peak time. ➢ Flexible service based architecture will be highly desirable for future extension.

He should also have rights to accept the registration of the Distributers and Retailers based on their profile (unless the Distributor and Retailers should not able to login to the site). Distributers: These users are authenticated to the website by providing the credentials which they got at the time of registration and they can login into the site whenever the Administrator accepts his profile. The User authentication process is done through the Role Based Authentication. Retailers: These users are authenticated to the website by providing the credentials which they got at the time of registration and they can login into the site whenever the Administrator accepts his profile. These users should be able to see the Forum discussion questions and also they can provide the answers to those questions, and also have the facility to post the questions into the Forums discussions.
