This paper presents a modified O-RAN 5G edge architecture that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) models, particularly recurrent neural networks (RNNs), to enhance user experience by optimizing network performance and reducing latency. It explores the implementation of 5G and 6G standards using cloud-native technologies and proposes algorithms for improved core network functionality, specifically focusing on real-time applications such as automated guided vehicles and video streaming. The study includes a review of existing literature on AI frameworks in 5G networks, and reinforces the significance of AI in addressing challenges in modern telecommunications.
