This paper discusses the minimization of oscillations in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems through the control of non-linear dynamics in sepic DC-DC converters. It presents an adaptive perturb and observer maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm implemented in a microcontroller, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach in ensuring stable operation near the maximum power point. Experimental results indicate that chaotic behaviors were mitigated, leading to improved power extraction from the PV system.
