This document outlines a research project on the situation of farmers in Maharashtra. It will use a descriptive and cross-sectional research design to study the main problems farmers face, their expectations of government schemes, and the impact of schemes on productivity. Literature was reviewed on topics like farmer suicide causes, drought impacts, and e-agriculture benefits. The objectives are to identify key issues and study government programs. Hypotheses examine the relationship between problems/behavior and schemes. Data will be collected through questionnaires and secondary sources, with questions using scales. The presentation will be guided by Dr. Nilesh Kate.
