Web 2.0 Tools are associated with user centered web applications that facilitate information sharing, collaboration, and allow diverse systems to work together (interoperability) on the World Wide Web. A Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other as creators of content in a virtual environment; in contrast to websites where users are limited to the passive viewing of what was created for them. Examples of Web 2.0 include blogs, video sharing sites, hosting sites, web applications, and social networking sites .
