The technique of telling a single story or story experience across multiple
platforms and formats using current digital technologies.
Transmedia storytelling allows for the interpretation of the story from the
individual perspective, making way for personalized meaning-making.
The evolution of multi-channel retailing, but is concentrated more
on a seamless approach to the consumer experience through all
available shopping channels, i.e. mobile internet devices, computers,
brick-and-mortar, television, radio, direct mail, catalog and so on.
