- #3: Last year I saw an inspirational ted talk about open-source ecology… Open source hardware is everywhere. You see it in electronics, but also in music and agriculture. This image is the LifeTrac 2 open source Tractor, you can find this on opensourceecology.org. An organization dedicated to open source hardware and villages, so you can build your own farm and your own equipment. With the coming of new technology, such as the 3d printer, online communities and the open source dogma, you as an individual are empowered to create anything.
