Oracle acquires Ksplice, a company that develops technology allowing Linux servers to apply kernel updates without requiring reboots. Oracle plans to incorporate Ksplice's zero downtime update technology into Oracle Linux Premier Support, which will allow Oracle customers to apply critical security updates and fixes without disruptions.
