OUTPUT DEVICE
 Output devices – The output devices are
peripheral devices that are used to convert
the output processed by the computer into
human-readable form. These devices either
display the output on the screen, print on
paper, or through any other form. Examples:
printer, monitor, projector, headphones, etc.
MONITOR
 A monitor is an electronic output device used
to display information being entered and
processed on a computer. The primary use of
a monitor is to display images, text, video,
and graphics information generated by the
computer via a computer’s video card. It can
be referred to as the main output device of a
computer device. The first monitor display
was introduced on 1 March 1973.
PRINTER
A printer is a device that accepts text and
graphic output from a computer and
transfers the information to paper, usually to
standard-size, 8.5" by 11" sheets of paper.
Printers vary in size, speed, sophistication
and cost. In general, more expensive printers
are used for more frequent printing or high-
resolution color printing.
Types of Printers
•Laser Printers.
•Solid Ink Printers.
•LED Printers.
•Business Inkjet Printers.
•Home Inkjet Printers.
•Multifunction Printers.
•Dot Matrix Printers.
•3D Printers.
SPEAKER
 Speakers are used to connect to a computer
to generate sound, which are one of the
most common output devices. Some
speakers are designed to connect with any
kind of sound system, while some can be
hooked up only with computers. With the
computer speaker, the computer's sound
card creates a signal that is used to
produce sound. The primary objective of
speakers is to offer audio output for the
listener. The electromagnetic waves are
converted into sound waves through the
speaker as they are transducers. The
devices, like an audio receiver or computer,
give audio input to speakers, which may be
in the form of analog or digital. The
function of the analog speaker is simply to
magnify the analog electromagnetic waves
into sound waves.
PROJECTOR
 A projector or image projector is an
optical device that projects an image
onto a surface, commonly a projection
screen. More scientifically it can be
stated as, A projector is an output device
that can take images generated by a
computer or Blu-ray player and
reproduce them onto a screen, wall, or
other surface.
