Hospital Changkat Melintang aims to make patient stays as comfortable as possible by monitoring pain levels as a fifth vital sign along with temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Patients will be asked to rate their pain level from 0 to 10 upon admission and during observations, with 0 indicating no pain and 10 maximum pain, so that adequate pain relief can be provided throughout their stay.
