Editor's Notes

  • #3: INDIVIDUAL SPORTS- sport in which participant compete as individuals. DUAL SPORTS – played by two people striving against for one another. TEAM SPORTS – competed between with two teams each with two or more players.
  • #9: Body’s reaction to challenge or demand. The imbalance between the demand from the environment and the person’s ability to cope can trigger feeling anxiety. Some responses like being irritated, frightened, or anxious can cause headache or stomachache.
  • #11: Women can take long-term stress better than men showing the same maladaptive changes. Men cope with short-term stress better
  • #12: PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSE TO STRESS- can be defined as any external or internal condition that challenges the homeostasis of a cell or an organism. It can be divided into three different aspects: environmental stress, intrinsic developmental stress, and aging. IT IS HOW THE PARTS OF THE BODY’S FUNCTION REACTS TO STRESS
