The Project Euronet-PBL Erasmus multilateral project 2008 – 2010 Six participating countries:  Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Slovenia, Turkey Three domains:  Management, Engineering, Vocational teacher education Web support & Internal evaluator www.itb.uni-bremen.de
The activities of Euronet-PBL Case studies  (students‘ Praktikum projects) Stakeholder interviews  (students, companies, …) Evaluation workshops  (functioning of Praktika) Comparisons  (countries, domains, issues) Common conclusions  (Guidelines, Toolbox) www.itb.uni-bremen.de
Strategic options Praktika:  Integrated arrangements  or  marginal sideline activities? Implementation:  Negotiated projects  or  work experience placements? Praktikum tasks:  Subject-related tasks  or  random working? www.itb.uni-bremen.de
Key questions Can  Praktikum  contribute to students‘ know-how? Can  Praktikum  respond to companies‘ needs? Can  Praktikum  projects promote real cooperation? www.itb.uni-bremen.de

Bremen:  Students analyse companies‘ training issues and open prospects for  cooperation Sabanci:  Students challenge companies‘ marketing strategies and propose new brands Aalborg:  Students analyse critical tensions in the middle of organisational change www.itb.uni-bremen.de

Akershus University College (HIAK):  Praksis placements  not  strongly integrated to studies but the college can contribute to organisational learning in workplace (Florö). www.itb.uni-bremen.de
